- Rivanna Solar is a 12.5 MW-AC solar project in Albemarle County, VA. The project will connect to Dominion’s distribution system via an existing substation.
- Project was subsequently sold to Apex Clean Energy in late 2018. Rivanna Solar is now under construction, expected to be operational in 2023.
- SolUnesco secured site control in 2016 and began the county zoning and interconnection processes before selling the project rights to Sol Systems in March of 2017.
- Under a Development Services Agreement with Sol Systems, SolUnesco lead county zoning efforts, securing a Special Use Permit from Albemarle County, and collaborated on completion an interconnection agreement with Dominion.
