Randolph Solar is a 500 MW-AC photovoltaic solar power plant proposed in Charlotte County, Virginia.
SolUnesco is the owner of the project and provides day-to-day project development including site diligence, local and state permitting, design and engineering,management of the interconnection process, commercial offtake, landowner relations, and community relations
Randolph solar will interconnect to the Dominion 500 kV transmission system that originates at the Clover power station. Randolph will provide power to the wholesale electricity grid.
PJM has completed the Feasibility Study and the System Impact Study will commence September 2020.
SolUnesco will apply to Charlotte County for a Conditional Use permit as defined by the county’s ordinance forSolar Energy Systems (Sec. 10-23).
